In hip-hop there is this need to validate the top 5 MCs dead or alive. Here's my very personal and controversial list.

2. Jay-Z/Kanye West
3. GhostFace
4. Cam'ron
5. Trick Daddy

Don't get it confused, these MCs entertain me royally. Especially Trick Daddy! Book of Thugs Chapter AK Verse 47 was an amazing album. I played for like a year. I'm not saying dude is warped, cuz that makes the best artist. Especially in interviews with John Mayer.
