Lyor Cohen is that guy who turned Def Jam into a machine during the mid 90's. All this from being Russ Simmon's intern. I came across the trade article noting that instead of cutting back during the shaky music industry days of redevelopment, they are giving select individuals 8 million dollar pink slip packages. This makes no sense, but hey congrats!
