Last year in England I saw the ads all-over the subway system promoting the theatrical production of "The Harder They Come". Long story short, didn't get around to seeing it. In Spring, my yardees suggested we check out the same play while it is doing it's run in Toronto... The summer passed as quickly as the play.
Sadly, this past Thursday Trevor Rhone passed away instantly due to a heart attack. His legacy was selfless towards the arts community in Jamaica. Co-writing The Harder They Come and Smile Orange were two of his many great achievements that set the foundation of the Jamaican culture to the world!
