No doubt I'm an arsenal fan, but the chief behind some of their most stunning performances, including the 03/04 run as The Invincibles, is a true boss! The ability to handle veterans has been proven by Arsene Wenger, but he's been competing over the past 3 years with a young squad without breaking the bank. Lately, there has been a tragedy in Africa concerning the African Nations Cup, and Arsenal Boss has shown why he's running the show. His perspective is one with great foresight and courage.
Straight from Mr. Wenger he is insisting the game must go on especially after the Togoan attack with this quote regarding his player's involvement in the tournament: “We won’t be asking Fifa to release them, and I’ll be happy for Eboué to play in Cabinda on Monday,” said Wenger. “I believe it would be disrespectful to Africa and the Africa Nations Cup [to bring them home]. You can’t always encourage Africa to develop and if something happens say ‘come back to Europe’.”
